Another sweet cow! This one gave me a lick with her giant tongue. She is also off to slaughter soon. The farmer was pragmatic – she loves her animals but isn’t prepared to give up eating meat. BUT she only eats what she raised in order to make sure they had a good life and were well cared for. She said she would NEVER buy meat in a grocery store – too many people don’t know where meat comes from, or what it means to the animal. It was an interesting conversation and I respect her values and thoughts.
