Tuxedo Stan’s World Tour – Western Canada Update

It’s been a while since we posted any World Tour photos but my friend Diana Piggott has made up for it by sending me some more great photos from the Canadian west!

Three Little Minions go to Yoho, and more….

Alberta Division reporting to Tuxedo Party Headquarters, April 2014

Tuxedo minions Albert, Victoria and Tony have been out and about, yes, at last!

Last year, we took Albert out skiing on several occasions, and took his picture on a number of bridges, where he posed so fetchingly πŸ˜‰ Well, sadly, most bridges on the Alberta side of the southern Rockies were washed away in the Great Flood of June 2013, including all of the ones Albert posed on. The only remaining bridge from that series is one in Yoho, over the Amiskwi River where it joins the Kicking Horse River. We went back to inspect it in March, this time with all three minions! The view down the Kicking Horse is as pretty as ever, and much enhanced by three lovely tuxes πŸ™‚

On the way home, we passed by the village of Lake Louise, where the three seemed completely blown away by the beauty of the scene…… or are they sunbathing??

On another expedition, we crossed into BC again, this time into Kootenay Park, for a short but fantastic backcountry expedition into the charmingly named Chickadee Valley. The cats were a little disappointed not to see any chickadees, but the scenery almost made up for it.

Easter eggs? What a strange idea….. but wait! Catnip Easter eggs, brilliant! Albert, Victoria and Tony are keen to hide the eggs for a feline Easter egg hunt, and find themselves strangely drawn to a shelf of cat books πŸ˜‰

Tuxedo Socrates was pleased to be the lucky winner, though he got a little over-excited and knocked Albert over in his enthusiasm for the hunt! Albert, being a good sport, calmly picked himself up, licked himself off and prepared to do it all over again with Callista. The minions are quite amused by the effects of catnip on the “big” cats.

Score!
Score!

We are all interested to see that a Tuxedo Wave is sweeping the political landscape of the nation, especially with a certain local Tuxedo Joe running for Premeower of Alberta. The future looks bright!

Here ends the Alberta Division Report.
Good night and happy hunting to all!
