The Unsung Hero

Today I would like to honour the unsung hero of the Tuxedo Stan for mayor campaign,

Tuxedo Fijy.

As many of you know, I never leave my gated community of Catopia.

Any time an appearance was needed at a Public event my STANd-in Tuxedo Fijy was called upon to fill in.

Fijy came from humble beginnings. He was found living life as a stray in Halifax.

He was trapped, neutered and brought to a foster home until he could be adopted.

Like all tuxedo cats, he made himself indispensable around the home so his foster family decided to keep him.

With good nutrition and good care he flourished and became the handsome body double you see before you today.

The notch in his ear indicates he was neutered as a rescue cat.

He gets to hang out with celebrities like singer/songwriter Don Amero.

He also gets squeezed and kissed by loving admirers!

He was even blessed by a nice lady minister.

Thanks, Fijy, for making me look good.

Just don’t let it go to your head – remember I’M the celebrity!

Don’t hang up your tux Fijy, we still have a lot of work to do.
