Today’s World Tour pictures come from bonny Scotland courtesy of Allison Dube.
Allison’s cat Oscar was curious when a package arrived from ME – Tuxedo Stan.

Oscar was so excited to see my Ambavatar that he got a bit frisky!

As Allison says, “Ambavatar Stan quickly established his rank and Oscar started showing a little more admiration!”

The first order of business for the tour was some traditional dress. You can’t go to Scotland and not end up in a kilt!

The walking tour begins with the view from Shandwick Place:

We continued our walk through Princes St. Gardens for some great views of Edinburgh Castle:

My Ambavatar then met a Scottish legend! He’s not Mel Gibson but he still looks pretty tough – I’m glad he’s on my side 🙂

With tired legs we make it to the top of Castle Hill to the entrance of Edinburgh Castle:

Thank you Allison and Oscar for being such gracious hosts.
As they say in Scotland, “See ye efter!”
Love,
Tuxedo Stan

Too bad they didn’t get a photo beside the little piece of Nova Scotia at the Castle. That’s were they “dubbed” those who gained the Baronetcy as they weren’t actually going to travel to NS! I’ve saw the sign when I visited the Castle years ago.
By the way, the special mouse that came with the Christmas cards was a hit with my 14-year old fella (adopted from the Ottawa Humane Society at the age of 9 months).

Thanks sooo much Allison, Oscar, and Ambavatar Stan (and Hugh) for this! The kilt is perfect – love your spirit, and your city. Edinburgh was one of my favs when I toured Europe years ago.
cheers
